A quick look at the food and drinks on board an MSC Cruises ship
The main restaurant
One of the highlights of a cruise for many people is the chance to dine in the ship’s main restaurant. Featuring crisp white tablecloths, Mediterranean and international dishes and attentive waiting service, it is a wonderful experience and sociable occasion each evening.
Pick your sitting
If you are booking a Fantastica Experience for your cruise, then you are given a choice of two sittings in the evening. A table will then be reserved for you at the same time and spot each night, allowing you to get to know your dining companions and staff. This is known as The Classic option.
On board the new ships MSC Meraviglia, MSC Seaside and MSC Seaview, you can opt to go for The Flexi, which works on a similar principle to The Classic, but allows you to change your preference daily. You will still have a choice of two sittings, but you may wish to dine later if you have been on an excursion on a particular day.
Upgrade for even more flexibility
Some people don’t like to be so prescriptive in the timings of their meals and if that sounds like you, then upgrading to the Aurea Experience could be worthwhile. This will allow you to take advantage of The My Choice option, meaning you can eat at the main restaurant at any time during opening hours.
The Buffet
We are confident that you will find something to suit your tastes and mood at The Buffet. After all, there are 13 different areas to discover – from the Kids’ Corner to the Pasta Station – allowing you to find exactly what you fancy. Be sure to take advantage of the Tastes of Your Itinerary Corner to enjoy the specialities of your cruise’s destinations, as well as watching your meals being created by our talented chefs.
Open for 20 hours a day, The Buffet is a great casual option for everyone, from families to couples who don’t want to tie themselves down to mealtimes.
Ultimate luxury
When it comes to pushing the boat out on a cruise, nothing beats the MSC Yacht Club. It allows you to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Silver Service Restaurant, Top Sail Lounge and One Pool Sundeck. Each of these spaces offer a different type of dining, from sophisticated meals to light bites and snacks, but what they all have in common is their exclusivity.
Drinks
The drinks that you enjoy on board an all-inclusive cruise will depend on the drinks package you go for. There are lots of different options available, so you can pick the one that suits you, whether it be unlimited or mealtimes only. It is also worth knowing that you can get equivalent packages for children too.
Drinks are served in various places all over the ship, including poolside, in the restaurants, bars, mini bar of your cabin and room service. As well as premium beers, wine and cocktails, there are hot drinks, smoothies, milkshakes and plenty of choice when it comes to soft drinks.
Book a cruise today and choose the right drinks package to suit your party.
