London, UK – Wednesday 18th December 2024. MSC Cruises is thrilled to announce the return of the hit Channel 5 drama series, The Good Ship Murder, produced on board the stunning MSC Virtuosa, by Clapperboard Studios, in association with Fifth Season.
Channel 5 revealed this month that a Christmas special is set to air tonight (Wednesday 18th December 2024) at 9pm on Channel 5 and a second seven-part series of the hit show will launch in the new year.
Showcasing the elegance and innovation of MSC Virtuosa, The Good Ship Murder highlights life aboard this world-class ship as it sails to breathtaking destinations across Northern Europe and the Mediterranean from Southampton. With its standout venues such as the Carousel Lounge and the Galleria Virtuosa featured prominently, the drama immerses viewers in the essence of MSC Cruises’ unparalleled guest experience.
The series stars Shayne Ward as Jack Grayling, a former detective turned cruise ship singer, and Catherine Tyldesley as first officer Kate Woods. Together, they tackle a series of intriguing mysteries aboard MSC Virtuosa, with some returning cast members and new stars joining the season.
